\nThe over 70-meter-long, 200-ton footbridge is made up of 23 prefabricated elements produced at the ELEMENT SA plant in Tafers.
\nA 650-ton crane was used for the final installation of the complete bridge, after the application of prestressing.
\nThe structure is characterized by flared ends, which are obtained from non-developable surfaces.
\nThis constraint makes the boilermaker’s work more demanding, since he can’t start from a flat sheet to form the mold, but has to assemble small elements.
\nFor this project, we designed and manufactured 7 different molds\/components.

B\u00e9ton Fibr\u00e9 Ultra Performant (BFUP) is a new concrete that can be used to produce thin, yet very strong, elements.
