Mould for parts in Ultra High Performance Fibre Concrete (UHPCF) – Anneau de la mémoire at Notre-Dame de Lorette
Information supplied by the customer: geometry of the part and path of the prestressing sheaths.
Design office work : Design of two shrink-core molds with different radii to manufacture the parts required by the customer.
We also designed an associated frame for “conjugate joint” manufacturing.
Delayed demolding.
Special features: The routing of prestressing sheaths requires the manufacture of special end fittings.
The surface finish must conceal all marks associated with the boilermaking work involved in making the mold (welding, sanding).
Technical challenges: Geometric and appearance constraints.
Delivery country: France
Destination: Architectural monument in UHPC
